Creative & Communication

Anyone can put information out into the world now. Beautiful advertising and elaborate films lose their power the moment they become the goal in themselves. What we design is not the creative itself, but the structure of the whole communication that sits behind it.

Services

This practice is organised into three groups of services.

Strategic Modules

Our own methods, built on approaches our people actually used at global companies and brands in Japan and overseas, then developed, tested and refined through practice.

Brand Visioning

Brand Visioning

Articulates and visualises the value a brand offers, what it should become, and the gaps in between.

THE BRIEF

THE BRIEF

A briefing framework that sets out everything you expect from a partner, with nothing missed.

KPI / ROI Planning

KPI / ROI Planning

An investment estimation method that quantifies contribution to the business, not just marketing or promotional success.

WATERWHEEL MODEL

WATERWHEEL MODEL

A social media solution that gathers future customers and runs CEP test marketing at the same time.

WATERWHEEL MODEL

WATERWHEEL MODEL

Our own research and test-marketing solution for minimising the market risk that comes with new products, new audiences and new markets. Social advertising drives people to waterwheel landing pages built around a variety of angles, and prospects are gathered into LINE, accumulating a list of future customers as an asset. Where conventional web research captures the past and present, the WATERWHEEL MODEL tests future moves: what approach actually makes people act. It develops category entry points (CEPs) and runs test marketing at the same time, turning marketing from a cost into an investment.

  • Reduces risk up front in highly uncertain areas such as new product and new audience combinations
  • Turns future customers into an asset, and budget from a cost into an investment
  • A practical framework for building category entry points (CEPs)

Education & Training

Drawing on what we have learned from supporting marketers, we develop training programmes for marketers and others. Rather than teaching frameworks in the abstract, we offer practical programmes about how to actually use them — the kind only a company working on the front line of marketing can build.
